Originally based in India, Amyn Rahimtoola's family has been in the jewelry business for the past four generations. His great-grandfather had an important natural pearl business in Paris as far back as the late nineteenth century. He was influenced by his grandfather, who was one of the pioneers of the diamond industry in India and Antwerp. His mother was one of the premier diamond cutters and jewelry designers of India.

Amyn pursued his love for jewelry and started manufacturing custom-made designs in the early 1980’s. He later went to Geneva where he studied jewelry casting for a year. He returned to Bangalore (India) to manage the family run jewelry casting facility. He later graduated to designing and manufacturing custom-made jewelry for Royal families of old Indian heritage, well-known industrialists families, professionals,and celebrities, in Bombay. He has also dealt in antique Indian and European jewelry and watches for several years.

He moved to Los Angeles in 1999 and recently started a unique line of jewelry under the name Amyn R Creations.Integrating diamonds, diamond briolettes, rose cuts, precious and semi-precious stones, Indian enamel handcrafted pieces with a blend of 14k, 18k and 21 k white and yellow gold, Amyn has uniquely designed and self created each of his jewelry pieces.

On November 7th 2004, Amyn opened his own retail boutique - Jewelry on 7th - which caters to celebrities and prominent figures in the entertainment industry.

Amyn's designed and handcrafted creations are sold at Jewelry on the 7th - Santa Monica , Jennifer Kaufman -Beverly Center ,Theodore- Rodeo Drive ,Brentwood Gardens, Augustina Leathers-Carmel by the Sea, Ateshi Gallery - Montana Avenue, to name a few.......
